Terms and Conditions – MNASL Language School

1. Subject of the service

  1. By enrolling, the Student agrees to participate in language courses organized by MNASL Language School, at a level of difficulty agreed with the School.
  2. Classes are conducted by qualified teachers with experience in teaching the given language.
  3. The School provides the necessary organizational, technical and teaching resources to ensure the proper conduct of classes.

2. Duration of the course

  1. Enrollment in a course is valid until June 30, 2026, unless otherwise agreed.
  2. Both the Student and the School may terminate participation with 2 weeks’ notice, effective at the end of the calendar month.
  3. Termination may be submitted in writing or by email.

3. Group sizes

  1. Classes are organized in groups of 5 to 8 students.
  2. Groups are formed based on level and, where possible, age.
  3. If the number of students falls below 5, the School may:
    • shorten lesson duration,
    • increase course price,
    • merge groups of a similar level, or
    • dissolve the group.
      In such cases, the School may act immediately without observing the standard notice period.

4. Course organization

  1. Classes are normally held once a week, on a day agreed with the group.
  2. Standard lesson duration:
    • 60 minutes (regular groups),
    • 45 minutes (groups of children aged 6–10).
  3. Classes may take place:
    • Online (via Zoom). The Student is required to connect with a computer (mobile devices are not accepted).
    • On-site at ul. Kwiatowa 1D, room 18, Szczecin, Poland (for face-to-face courses).
  4. If a class cannot be held (e.g. due to holidays, school breaks, or technical issues on the School’s side), the School will offer a make-up date agreed with the group. If no agreement is reached, § 5.6 applies.
  5. The School reserves the right to exclude a Student from classes in case of serious disruption of lessons.

5. Course fees and payments

  1. The course fee is PLN 250 gross per month or the equivalent in another currency, calculated according to the exchange rate provided by Yahoo Finance at the time of payment.
  2. Payment is due monthly in advance, by the 5th day of each month.
  3. Accepted payment methods: credit/debit card, BLIK, Stripe, or PayPal.
  4. Absence from classes does not reduce the fee obligation.
  5. In case of late payment, the School may suspend the Student’s participation until payment is made. This does not cancel the payment obligation.
  6. If a class cannot be rescheduled as per § 4.4, the monthly fee is reduced by PLN 50 gross for each missed class, settled in the following payment period or refunded.

6. Personal data protection (GDPR)

  1. The data controller is:

  2. Contact: by post at the above address, by email, or by phone.
  3. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to participate in courses.
  4. Data is processed for course administration and settlement, based on art. 6 (1) a–c of GDPR.
  5. Data will not be used for automated decisions, profiling, or transferred outside the EU.
  6. Students/legal guardians have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, object, or withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing.
  7. Complaints may be filed with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
  8. Data is kept for no longer than 2 years after enrollment. For claims, data may be stored for 3 years.

7. Final provisions

  1. The School may cancel a course before its start if not enough students enroll. In such case, payments are refunded in full.
  2. Changes to these Terms must be made in writing or by email.
  3. For students under 18, all formal matters are handled by legal guardians.
  4. Matters not covered here are governed by the Polish Civil Code.
